This very sturdy soap holder is handmade in Tunisia from sustainably sourced olive wood. Each soap holder has a unique wood grain, so no two soap holder is the same. The soap holder has ridges that allow excess water to drain away. This ensures that your soap does not dissolve when you are not using it.
Olive wood is one of the hardest types of wood available. This ensures that fungi and bacteria cannot enter the wood. The soap holder has been treated with a natural oil, which means it does not allow moisture to pass through and lasts a long time in damp areas. However, the soap holder is not intended to remain wet all the time.
To keep the soap holder in good condition for as long as possible, we recommend that you regularly clean the soap holder under the tap. The soap holder is not suitable for the dishwasher.
It is best to rinse the soap holder under the tap with cold to lukewarm water. Water that is too hot can dry out the wood of the soap holder.
