Cinnamon is a spice that comes from the cinnamon tree. The inner bark of the cinnamon tree is dried and curls up when drying into the well-known cinnamon stick.Cinnamon oil is extracted by steam distillation of leaves and shoots of the cinnamon tree. On average, between 100 and 200 kilograms are needed to produce 1 liter of cinnamon oil.
Where is it from?
The cinnamon tree originally comes from Sri Lanka. It can also be found in other tropical parts of Asia. In the wild it grows in certain parts of India and Myanmar.

How do you use Cinnamon Oil?
As a massage oil
Mix 3 to 5 drops of cinnamon oil with a base oil (e.g. argan oil). Massage this into the skin. Ideal for promoting blood circulation and warming the body after catching a cold.
In the diffuser
Add 2 drops of Lemongrass Oil, 1 drop of Sandalwood oil and 3 drops of Cinnamon Oil to the water reservoir of a diffuser. Creates peace and balance in your home and in your head.
In tea for a cold
Add 2 drops of Lemon Essential Oil, 2 drops of Ginger Essential Oil and 1 drop of Cinnamon Oil to a cup of hot water (250ml). Add 1 tablespoon of raw honey and stir well. Drink as a tea for colds and flu.
Anti-fungal oil
Mix 5 drops of Cinnamon oil with 50 ml of Argan oil. Treat fungal nails and fungal infections on the skin with this.NB! Do not use undiluted on the skin. Do not use in the sun. May cause phototoxicity and affect the skin.Contains a high Eugenol content which can irritate the skin and mucous membranes.Maximum dosage for the skin: 0.5% on 100 ml carrier oil or cream.
