What is Davana Essential Oil?

Davana Essential Oil is an essential oil extracted from the flowering tops and leaves of the Artemisia Pallens by steam distillation. A powerful and aromatic herb with yellow flowers that is very popular in India for sacrifices and religious festivals.

How do you use Davana Essential Oil?

As aromatherapy

Add 5 drops of Davana Essential Oil and 3 drops of Bergamot Essential Oil to the water in your aroma diffuser and turn it on for a wonderfully soothing atmosphere.

In fragrance sticks

Add 25 drops of Davana Essential Oil and 10 drops of Mandarin Essential Oil to 50 ml of neutral oil and pour into a small glass bottle. Insert about 6 bamboo sticks into this and let it stand for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn the sticks upside down in the bottle and enjoy a warm and cheerful aroma in your home.

As a skin oil

Add 5 drops of Davana Essential Oil and 2 drops of Clary Sage Essential Oil to 50 ml of carrier oil (e.g. Argan oil) and apply to your skin after showering. Also beneficial for menstrual cramps. Apply to your stomach in circular movements.

In Bath

Add 10 drops of Davana Essential Oil and 2 drops of Rose Essential Oil to 2 tablespoons of Dead Sea salt and allow the salt to absorb the oil. Then sprinkle this in a heated bath.

As perfume

Mix 7 ml alcohol (90%), 2 ml Davana Essential Oil and 1 ml water and add to a small spray bottle. Shake well before spraying behind your ears or on your wrists.
