What is Grapefruit Oil?
The Grapefruit is a citrus fruit that at first glance resembles the orange. Just like the orange, the grapefruit has a yellow/orange peel. However, on the inside the flesh turns pink and has a slightly bittersweet taste.
Grapefruit Essential Oil is a fresh & fruity scented oil that is extracted from the fresh peels of the grapefruit. This is done by cold pressing. The oil obtained from this is packed with antioxidants such as vitamin C.
Where is it from?
The grapefruit originally comes from Jamaica. This is where the cross between the grapefruit and the orange originated. Grapefruits are now produced worldwide.
