Neroli, also called Orange or Orange Blossom, are the flowers of the Bitter, evergreen Orange Tree (Citrus aurantium).Neroli Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation of the fresh, white blossoms of the Orange tree. 1 liter of oil requires 1000 kilograms of blossoms. This makes this exotic oil quite expensive.
Where is it from?
The largest producers of Neroli Oil are France, Italy and Tunisia. In addition, Morocco, Algeria and Egypt, among others, also supply good quality oil.

How do you use Neroli Essential Oil?
As aromatherapy
Add 6 drops of Neroli Essential Oil (and 3 drops of Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil) to the water reservoir of your diffuser and turn it on.
In Bath
Mix 5 drops of Neroli Essential Oil and 4 drops of Chamomile Essential Oil with a dash of neutral bath oil and add to a heated bath.
As a hand cream
Heat 2 tablespoons of beeswax in a bain-marie. Add 20 ml Argan oil, 20 ml Shea butter and 20 ml Coconut oil and let cool thoroughly. Add 4 drops of Neroli Essential Oil and 3 drops of Jasmine Essential Oil and mix with a hand blender into a creamy cream.
As perfume
Mix 7 ml alcohol (90%), 2 ml Neroli Essential Oil and 1 ml water and add to a small spray bottle. Shake well before spraying behind your ears or on your wrists.
As a facial lotion
Add 5 drops of Neroli Essential Oil to 50 ml of rose water and mix well. Use on a cotton pad to cleanse the face.
