Rosewood is a collective name for various types of wood from different genera.The Brazilian Aniba rosaeodora comes from the Amazon region and is one of the endangered wood species. Another variant, the Indian Dalbergia sissoo, is therefore also used to extract an equivalent oil.Our Rosewood Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation of residual wood from the Dalbergia sissoo.

How do you use Rosewood Essential Oil?
As aromatherapy
Add 4 drops of Rosewood Essential Oil and 3 drops of Orange Essential Oil to the water reservoir of a diffuser and switch it on for a harmonious atmosphere in your home.
In Bath
Mix 3 drops of Rosewood Essential Oil, 4 drops of Cedar Essential Oil and 4 drops of Sandalwood Essential Oil and add to a dash of neutral bath oil. Pour the mixture into a heated bath.
In your DIY perfume
Mix 15 ml alcohol (90%), 5 ml Rosewood Essential Oil and 3 ml water and add to a small spray bottle. Shake well before spraying behind your ears or on your wrists.
As a facial lotion
Add 3 drops of Rosewood Essential Oil and 5 drops of Lavender Essential Oil to 50 ml of Rose Water. Shake well and use on a cotton pad to cleanse the face.
As a skin oil
Mix 6 drops of Rosewood Essential Oil, 4 drops of Frankincense Essential Oil and 4 drops of Sandalwood Essential Oil with 50 ml of carrier oil (e.g. Argan oil) and apply to the skin. Ideal to support mature skin.NB! In high concentrations, may cause nausea and dizziness upon evaporation.
