Our hammam beach towels are made from recycled cotton and are resistant to sun and moisture. This means that the cloths remain good for a long time and are very durable.
An important property of the hammam cloth is that it can absorb a lot of moisture so that the cloth feels nice when wrapped. The hammam beach towel is therefore ideal for use on the beach or in the sauna. A nice large model, finished with a nice print and braided decorative threads at the end.

This is how cotton is recycled
Step 1 is collecting worn cotton and/or production residues. This cotton is then selected by color and mechanically removed from labels, buttons, zippers, etc. The fabric is cut into strips per color and reduced by a fiber machine until only fibers remain. These fibers are mixed with new fibers from organic cotton for the best quality. You don’t actually come across 100% recycled cotton towels in practice. Without a small percentage of new cotton, the fibers would not be strong enough to create a whole, for example in the form of a hammam towel. The fibers are combed even finer and laid in the same direction. This process is called carding. The carded fiber can be made into a sliver that is spun into yarn. This is what the end product is ultimately made from.Technical data
