Marjoram is a herbal plant with an intense spicy aroma that is very similar to marjoram.
The plant has elongated leaves with a green-gray color and purple – pink flowers. Marjoram Essential Oil is extracted from steam distillation of the leaves.
Where is it from?
Marjoram originally comes from the Mediterranean region, but is now also grown indoors and outdoors as a herb pot plant.

How do you use Marjoram Essential Oil?
In Bath
Dissolve 8 drops of Marjoram Essential Oil and 5 drops of Lavender Essential Oil in 1 tablespoon of dead sea salt. Then sprinkle the salt in a heated bath.
In a diffuser
Add 5 drops of Marjoram Essential Oil and 4 drops of Grapefruit Essential Oil to the water reservoir of a diffuser.
As a skin oil
Mix 5 drops of Marjoram Essential Oil and 5 drops of Rosemary and add to 50 ml of base oil (e.g. Argan oil).
As a hand cream
Heat 50 grams of Shea Butter , 25 grams of Coconut Oil and 25 grams of Cocoa Butter in a bain marie. Allow to cool thoroughly and add 1 tablespoon of Argan Oil, 2 drops of Marjoram Essential Oil and 2 drops of Lavender Essential Oil. Mix with a hand blender until a soft, creamy cream has formed.
In a steam bath
Add 3 drops of Marjoram Essential Oil, 3 drops of Thyme Essential Oil and 3 drops of Spearmint Essential Oil to a basin of hot water. Use as a steam bath.
