How do you use Tea Tree Essential Oil?

In your shampoo

Add 2 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil and 1 drop of Clove Essential Oil to a dash of mild shampoo and massage your scalp well to prevent dandruff and an oily scalp and to combat head lice.

As a foot bath

Fill a basin with approximately 5 liters of warm water. Add 6 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil, 8 drops of Lavender Essential Oil and 4 drops of Geranium Essential Oil to 2 tablespoons of Dead Sea Salt and add to the warm water. Soak your feet in this for 15 minutes to prevent athlete’s foot, fungal nails and sweaty feet.

As a mouthwash

Add 1 drop of Tea Tree Essential Oil and 1 drop of Peppermint Essential Oil to 50 ml (boiled and cooled) water. Rinse your mouth with this after brushing your teeth. You can also add a drop of Tea Tree Oil to your toothpaste.

As a face mask

Mix 2 tablespoons of bentonite clay, 5 to 6 tablespoons of water, 1 drop of Tea Tree Essential Oil and 1 drop of Lavender Essential Oil together into a thick paste. Apply the mixture to your face, avoiding eyes and lips. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.

As a steam bath

Fill a basin with 2 liters of hot water and add 3 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil and 2 drops of Pine Essential Oil. Hold your face over the tub with a towel over your head to trap the vapor and inhale deeply. Relieving for colds and flu!
